In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, The Nonprofit Coach Radio Show dedicated its entire episode to highlighting the work of the Institute for Black Male Achievement (IBMA), a national membership network of 1,800 organizations and leaders dedicated to improving life outcomes for black men and boys. David Banks, a BMA Innovator who is president and CEO of the Eagle Academy Foundation, joined Shawn Dove of the Open Society Foundation’s Campaign for Black Male Achievement, and Root Cause Founder and CEO Andrew Wolk to discuss the challenges still facing black men and boys in the U.S., and what the IBMA is doing to strengthen the field of black male achievement.
